CFG1002 is a 2MC course which can be completed in one afternoon. If you need feedback points for CourseReg, CFG1002 is a good way to get them. There's also some lecture you have to attend nearing the middle of the course, but otherwise, there's basically no workload. If you're planning on taking it for the content, here's the breakdown:
1. Resumes and Cover Letters.
2. Personal Branding.
3. Interviews.
4. Networking.
The content itself may seem quite simple, but it actually builds certain intuitions that are hard to develop otherwise. Don't assume you know everything about it, because there are quite a number of small details that can make a big difference. Here's the breakdown of the completion requirements:
1. Passing grade on Canvas Quizzes.
2. Set up accounts on ConnectUS and IAAS.
3. Elevator Pitch on VMock.
4. Resume submissions on VMock (you have to get a passing score).
Overall I think it's a good course to take and finish during the first week of school. They give you everything at one shot, so why not finish this while the workload for your other courses is still low?
